Looks like I will be leaving end of next week around Friday October 24, 2012 and heading directly for Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Here is a link to a copy of the full Official Earthquake Prediction for Fairbanks, Poplar Bluff, Jamaica:

Big Quake Chase: New Madrid, October 2012!!!!!
As soon as all that new earthquake energy starts to shake up around Fairbanks, Alaska. . . and then shows some signs of major earthquake energy crossing up around Edmonton and Yellowstone, then it will be time to start heading down towards the New Madrid Region because it is looking like that might be where the next major earthquake might strike!!! I am presently looking at around October 24, 2012 for leaving for New Madrid and first touring the Wabash Region where there could also be some shaking!? The closer October gets to the full moon, the further down New Madrid way I will want to be probably including Sikeston, Ridgely, and Blytheville in my tour as well. I do not recall ever having earthquake energy actually cross New Madrid so this should be an exciting adventure being fairly sure something is probably going to be shaking down there later this month! Although it could also shake up around St. Louis and Southern Illinois. . . and might ultimately be heading for Jamaica, it still seems like the place to go for a Great Quake Chase 2012!!!!! See You There!!!!! Quake Chaser/EQ Guy

Great Quake Chase: Los Angeles!!!!!
Yes, it just occurred to me tonight as I was writing out this last minute update that now appears on the front page of my EQ Blog, that if Los Angeles IS going to be now getting a lot of this upcoming major earthquake, then perhaps I should jump in my car and head right out there Quake Chasing!!! Slight problem with the fact that the San Andreas Fault is like a thousand miles long and there is no way I could cover all of it in my car, either! My guess would be to be out in Malibu like at the beach where I'd probably be able to feel the ground move under my feet, or at least go for a swim out there anywayz. Have actually had an earthquake occur while I was at the Santa Monica Pier and one shook one day when I was at Capistrano Beach as well. So, until a more straight line earthquake prediction comes along, I do not think there is any way I can be in both L.A. and S.F. at the same time so it looks like this will not be a Quake Chase!!!

Quake Chase: Seattle!!!!!
If only I could narrow it down closer to the date on this one, Quake Chaser would already be on a plane for Seattle, Washington!!! Or I suppose if I had NorthWest Airlines for a sponser that might help, too! In any event this next huge shaker could turn out to be a major one as big as 7.6 Richters and this guy wants a piece of that action really bad!!! To be the guy with the live pics of the Space Needle shaking and possibly. . . . . well nevermind all that, just sayin' two four magnitude forshocks have struck around Vancouver in the last twenty-four hours and a couple more very near downtown Anchorage. This one might not miss and that Full Moon will be monday night! Wait, maybe monday night would then be the night to be up in Seattle!!!??? Stay Tuned in any event for when this next huge Seattle Shaker DOES happen!!!!! Because Quake Chaser may figure out a way to be up there in the very near future!!!!! Thank-You for reading! On The Road. . . Again!!!!!
Here was my first stop on my latest "Quake Chase" which I can now officially call it because we had a good shaker strike Southern Illinois last night while I was waiting for my chicken at a local Popeyes!!!!! @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dickson_Mounds_Museum
Then when I got back to my room to enjoy my Popeyes Chicken, I immediately noticed on the list of latest earthquakes that there had just been a whole series of smallish earthquakes in Southern California, and Central America. This morning I was awoken early to my phone chiming with a 3.6 in Borrego Springs, California!!!!! And this trip was originally NOT even supposed to be a Quake Chase!!!!! What could happen next!!!!! Just Sayin' there is not too much earthquake energy supposed to be out there!? EQ Guy / Quake Chaser

Live From Quake Chase Central--Clintonville, Wisconsin!!!
It was a very noisy, and shaky night here in beautiful downtown Clintonville, Wisconsin where noises, noises, noises have been being reported over the last couple weeks and it was determined along the way that it was geological in nature!
There was a lot of small ground rumblings throughout the night and up until around 1 am and past that before I actually heard anything that might have been blamed on the movement of large geological fragments underground. There was one fairly large and reletively short one followed by a quick bump around 2, but that was pretty much it. Thought that while it had been much colder at the end of the day yesterday, and now headed up to the 60's that the coldness contracting, and incoming warmth expanding might be to blame for a little plate tectonics happening there.
Finally a quick close inspection of their downtown area along the Pidgeon River, that I can actually see out the window of my motel, I noticed that each of the 4 road bridges and 2 walkway bridges all seem to show signs of very minor "Pull-Apart" movement. Got some pics and measured with a folded dollar bill and came up with around .010 to .035 inches throughout the downtown area which had been well reported as more or less the exact epicenter of all the shaking.
Notice how clean and sharp these brand new cracks are! There are many and they are CONSISTANT throughout these downtown bridges. Seemed obvious they couldn't be more than a couple days old, here! Some day one side of this river will be Japan, the other side California! Look sort of like the beginning of the next San Andreas Fault, am I right?
Today, there is like one more foot bridge to check out, and it looks like the sun will be coming out so probably some Rollerblading, too! Thank-You for Reading! Quake Chaser / EQ Guy

New Quake Chase!!!!! Clintonville, Wisconsin!!!!! Noise?????
Yes, they keep getting those loud noises in the middle of the night and keep wondering what it is all about and where it's coming from? Well, I decided it's time Quake Chaser makes an appearance up there in Clintonville, Wisconsin to try and solve this problem once and for all!!!!! Leaving early tomorrow and plan to spend the weekend right in the middle of that town. . . until I basically have everything figured out that is going on up there! I'll report back right here at some point along the way!!!!! And plan on doing some Rollerblading, too!!!!! EQ Guy / Quake Chaser

FROM NEWSPAPER IN CALI: EQ Alert Guy becomes world’s first quake chaser
On Oct. 11, 2011, The EQ Alert Guy (EQ) landed at San Francisco International Airport on his way to what was about to become the world’s very first official "Quake Chase." Since the day of the Northridge Quake, EQ had been investigating exactly what causes earthquakes and when Oct. 2011 came around, he knew he had Northern California narrowed down very closely. When he incorporated the fact that the night of Oct. 12 would have a full moon, he immediately bought a ticket to Frisco and embarked on this new field of quake chasing.
Immediately upon landing in San Francisco, EQ headed to the USGS Offices in Menlo Park where he hand-delivered a copy of an "Official Prediction" for a major earthquake to strike between Oregon and California before Oct. 21, 2011, to a person who is actually on the California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council.
The next day, EQ headed to UC Berkeley to meet his old friend from seismology who he met years earlier when he was featured on the news for his earthquake early warning system. His friend was very happy to see EQ once again and demonstrated the very latest in the Earthquake Early Warning technology. Two earthquakes struck right at that instant, with the computer beeping and buzzing and announcing the number of minutes before the shock would be felt at Berkeley. On this occasion, they were small earthquakes, but served as a great illustration for how the system would eventually work all over California.
The earthquake that EQ was waiting for struck at 8:15 p.m. that night, Oct. 12, 2011, at Coos Bay, Oregon, and while it originally registered 5.9 Richters, it was downgraded to 5.3 Richters, but still ranks as among the biggest earthquakes ever to strike that California area. It officially made EQ the world’s very first successful quake chaser.
Only a few days after he flew out of San Francisco and headed for home, there were two more earthquakes, a 4.0 and a 4.2 Richters that struck Berkeley at or very near the campus at UC Berkeley, as well as a big 5.6 Richters earthquake at Oklahoma where EQ immediately headed for his next quake chase.
To follow EQ, visit www.earthquakealert.blogspot.com.
EQ, whose real name is Les Brown, has worked in TV and Motion Pictures in both Chicago and Hollywood, as well as the Carpenters Union in both Milwaukee and Los Angeles. Along the way, he decided to devote his life to his work with earthquakes. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his book, "My Earthquake Memoirs."

Welcome To My Official "Quake Chaser" Blog!!!
Yes, this is the place where as you might notice, I post all of my latest Quake Chase stuff! Right at the moment the Major Earthquake we are watching and waiting for looks like it might strike Nicaragua and while I have found a friend who has a place down Central America way. . . I have also been told there is NO LAW in some of those places so looking at beautiful downtown Guatamala City on Google Earth may be as close as I am going to get to seeing this one because for the time being I have decided no Quake Chases to Central America in my immediate future!!! Also seen somewhere that Coasta Rica averages about one 8 Richters earthquake every two years and after thinking about it have decided that while the likelyhoood MAY BE high of actually catching an 8 Magnitude earthquake really close-up; the likelyhood of me wanting to be in the middle of it down in Guatamala is very low! Keep in touch with this blog for my next Quake Chase! Got my passport renewed AND got one of those fancy new passport cards to boot, but haven't decided where the next big Quake Chase will be! Alaska 2012??? Thank-You for reading!

Earthquake Energy Heading for Southern California!
It's not the type of earthquake energy that makes good Quake Chases, though! Whenever the Pacific Tectonic Plate pushes against the North American Tectonic Plate like it is doing now, it would seem possible to Quake Chase Southern California the night of the upcoming full moon on Monday January 9, 2012 but just simple plate tectonics alone is not enough for me.
Stay tuned for the next Quake Chase that involves earthquake energy headed for a specific point on the map such as October 2011 was headed directly for Northern California. This new energy could well be headed for Mexico City, Guatamala, or Coast Rica, however tectonic plate movement alone is harder to forcast, and so virtually impossible for me to Quake Chase.
Meantime, I found some good prices on flights to Anchorage, Alaska and San Diego, California so keep watching for a good Quake Chase to one of them places in 2012!
